Ok, one last post on a documentary (for now anyway!): No Impact Man
This documentary was very interesting, totally impractical, but interesting nonetheless. It's a guy who (in phases) changes his and his family's way of living to virtually have zero impact on the environment. First phase is no trash, shopping at farmer's markets, not consuming anything that's further than 120 miles from their house (they live in NYC), riding bikes or walking everywhere, and using up what they already have and reusing the containers. Anyway, as the documentary progresses they end up finally with no electricity, which is cra-zy! The goal is not to live like this forever, but to really see what's "do-able' in everyday life. Check it out! I love his wife, she's so NOT on board most of the time, cracks me up.
